The 2,169 square feet living space has been professionally decorated in a classic Ernest Hemingway style that is tropical and beachy, yet sophisticated. The home also has that old Florida charm with genuine hardwood and terrazzo floors. Your first impression when entering the house will be the majestic looking foyer with planked wood vaulted ceilings and two quaint sea shell chandeliers. From there you’ll continue into the living room, which very nicely connects with a large and roomy kitchen that has a little bar area, perfect for entertaining.
The bedrooms are designed for comfortable living, including comfy duvets, and they all have professional laundered and pressed 5-Star hotel linens. The master bedroom features a king-size bed with a view of the boat canal and a newly renovated bathroom. Two other bedrooms have queen-size beds, and the fourth bedroom has two twins, which is perfect for kids.
But when you are on vacation in Florida, who wants to be inside all the time? Yes, if you are like everyone else, the outside space at this house is what will bring you back year after year. First, the back yard is huge, features a 75-foot long dock that can accommodate a very large boat, is situated on an extra wide canal which means privacy, and then you have two patios for entertainment. One of the patios is screened-in and has a large dining room table with a water view and easy access to both the kitchen and the BBQ grill. The other outside patio is more of a lounge area where you can enjoy a nightcap in the evening or watch the kids as they are playing in the pool. Both patios have an overhang, so come rain or shine, you still be enjoying the tropics, outdoors!
The city Pompano Beach is conveniently located with easy access to Miami, Fort Lauderdale, and the Palm Beaches. We recently stayed in this property for one week. The location is good and easy to find. The property was very clean and provided most things we were looking for. Some small repairs needed to be addressed. Over all a good experience.

The house was located in a beautiful area with access to a private beach which was within walking distance. The home was spacious with a beautiful in-ground pool. Unfortunately we had terrible weather and had to leave a day early because of the hurricane warning. My only suggestion would be that the living room furniture be replaced. It was badly stained and for a home in that area I would expect clean furniture. We did enjoy ourselves despite the weather.

Great Stay!
We had a lovely week long stay at the Hillsboro Beach Retreat. There were 7 of us in total and the space was roomy enough for all. The house was very clean and the outdoor space was perfect. The pool was nice and warm when we arrived. The private beach access was wonderful and the beach is just a short walk from the property. The only issues we had were not a big deal, but one thing to note - the bikes are in terrible shape. We attempted a family bike ride, but that was laughable at best. If you plan on riding bikes, I recommend renting from the bike shop down the street. Parts of the house were nice and updated and others could use a tweak. The sofa could also use a deep cleaning, as it is light in color and shows dirt easily. All in all, we enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again.

Beautiful Family Vacaion home
This beautiful well laid out home accommodated our large family well. We loved the pool, covered area by the pool and the screened in porch! There's only a 10 minute walk to the beach. The property was well-maintained with a few items that needed attention, which we let the management know. We would recommend this property. There are so many good restaurants - our favorites were Greek Islands, Beach House, and Sea Side Grille!

We have rented several airbnb and this was another great experience. We were pleasantly surprised to find out there is a private beach for us to use only 5 min away. Weird layout of the home but that would be the only negative. Easy check in and home was clean.

Overall - very good, however we had significant difficulties with the wifi and TV. while the property manager was very responsive it still took over a day to repair. Beach access was wonderful and the house/pool were clean. Beds were comfy and linens/towels well stocked.

Our family had a wonderful stay at this home. It was perfect for our family of 9. We loved the separation of the four bedrooms where two of them were in one part of the house and two were on the other side. The setting was beautiful on the water and the heated pool was so nice for all of us. The beach access fob was great and it was such a short walk to get there. We rented a golf cart and really enjoyed the beautiful area and all it had to offer. The area of Pompano Beach was quiet and we loved the Community Park. So many good food choices too. We would definitely stay here again!!!!

The stay was amazing. We had a wonderful time. The house is very close to a wonderful beach area. The kitchen is stocked which made cooking easy. The pool was warm and the fishing kept our boys busy for hours each day. Having 2 bedrooms on each end of the home made it perfect for 2 families vacationing together.

This house was great for our extended family vacation. The pool and back patio were enough to make us want to come back. There is private access to the beach, but it is a walk with no parking nearby. But the house had everything that we needed for four adults and two teenagers.

PERFECT
Good morning, We had an excellent stay, the day of our arrival we had an internet problem, but it was resolved quickly.
Lars sent Sébastien to see if everything was fine for us, and Sébastien was perfect and he solved the small problems, he bought beach chairs, 2 umbrellas and a beach cart.
The house was very nice, there was plenty of space for us, there were 5 of us with my 3 adult sons. Everyone had their own room.
We took advantage of the swimming pool, and the view of the bay was very pleasant.
The kitchen was very well appointed, there were several ovens, a microwave, a large refrigerator and everything necessary for cooking.
