Even better than expected
The place was even larger and nicer than it looked in the photos. Loved the living room surrounded by windows and the decor. Would definitely go here again. It doesn't have a beach view but it's only two blocks away and is much nicer than any of the places I could find on the beach.

The owner was very accommodating and a pleasure to deal with. He was very accessible for questions and information. The unit was clean, beautiful, good location and nice views. Lovely pool area. Our only complaint is that the hallways are in dire need of redecorating.

Spectacular!!!
Our experience at the Hemingway Holiday Penthouse South was nothing less than spectacular! The location of the penthouse is perfect. It is a close, 5 minute walk to the beach with a view of the inter coastal which is absolutely stunning in the evening. The openness and availability of windows throughout the condo allow for ample views of surroundings. The neighborhood is quiet despite being close to all sorts of conveniences. Within walking distances are restaurants, bars, shopping, convenience store, bike rental, ice cream, etc. etc. etc. You truly can spend the week at this property without ever having to drive anywhere! The property is VERY clean and we never lacked for anything. It is filled with every amenity one would need as a traveler. The kitchen contained every appliance, tool and supply we required for our 10 day stay. There were MORE than ample linens and towels along with toiletries which we had not expected. There were beach chairs which were a huge asset to us as we traveled by plane along with sand toys and floats. The beds are extremely comfortable in both of the bedrooms and the master bedroom is particularly spacious. We spent a great deal of time and enjoyed sitting on the decks eating our breakfast or just sipping drinks before dinner. The infinity pool is magnificent. Pool area is clean, water temperature was perfect, and there are ample comfortable chairs for lounging. I cannot tell you how impressed I was with this property. I give it my highest recommendation and would never stay at another property when visiting this area of Florida. There is nothing negative that I can say about this property and cannot imagine anyone staying here and not being happy with its magnificent accommodations. Five stars and two thumbs up!!!!

Deerfield Beach 2017
We spent 6 weeks at the Hemingway property in Deerfield Beach. It was our second winter there and we enjoyed it just as much as we did our first year. The property was just as advertised, clean, well-equipped and in a beautiful area. so convenient to the beach, restaurants and attractions in South Florida. As we did last year we rented through Superior Florida rentals and they were quickly responsive whenever we needed them (although we hardly needed to contact them at all). We enjoyed the pool, the outdoor table and porch and the beautiful views each night of the Florida sunset. This year we did enjoy an intracoastal cruise from Delray Beach which we did not do last year. Area restaurants are terrific from JB's, to Flanigan's to the small French restaurant Le Val De Loire in the cove among others. Deerfield Beach, less than 2 blocks away is a beautiful beach and always has room to sit in the sun and enjoy the water.

Our family stayed at this wonderful penthouse suite over the holiday season, and it was everything that was advertised and more. The unit is actually much bigger than it appears in print. We stayed at the Hemingway Holiday Penthouse South for the second consecutive year. We loved the stay, the unit and the area. This year there was new furniture on the outdoor balcony which we loved - comfortable and attractive. The property is clean, well maintained and in a great area. There are so many places within walking distance (restaurants, shops, bars and the beach).

Deerfield at its best
My wife and I had a wonderful stay in a beautiful apartment now in March 2018! Everything worked fine and parking is very easy with easy access to the apartment. We really enjoyed the evenings with sunset on the balcony.
We can recommend this to everyone. Perfect for 2 couples or a family of 4.

Steps away from everything you need at the beach!
Clean and comfortable modern condo.. Great sunset views! Quiet building that is literally 3 minutes away from the beach, restaurants and shopping at Deerfield Beach.
We did have a tv glitch, but it was fixed within a few hours by the property manager.

Great location and amenities
The condo is beautiful. Bedrooms are both very nice and have their own bathrooms. The condo is very clean and well kept. The outdoor terrace is very nice too, although the view is nothing special. The appliances are all very good, as well as a nice supply of kitchen dishes, glassware, etc. The pots and pans need updating badly. The pool area is very private and comfortable, and the security is very good in the building. Our only problem was the roof had a leak when it rained, and that caused the water to leak out of the smoke alarm in the master BR and set off the alarms in the middle of the night several times on our last night. We did not get sleep that last night and I'm hoping they are fixing this. I emailed but heard nothing back. I did not have good phone contact information with this rental so was unsure where or who to call. I would rent again but would want contact information for emergencies like this.

Beautiful
Bright,airy and clean- a perfect condo for 2 couples. The outdoor space was a plus! My only suggestion would be for the manager to leave some dish soap, dishwasher soap and an extra garbage bag. We cooked in for several meals and ended up using hand soap to wash the dishes with.

Fabulous February at Deerfield Beach
This is my 4th year renting at hemingway house complex. As usual everything was wonderful At check the condo was immaculate and well stocked.
The condo is well furnished and had everything we needed for our 2 week stay. The location is perfect and close to beach, restaurants and shopping.

Regulars at Deerfield Beach
Fortunately the weather was nice and we enjoyed our time away from our usual, snowy Rochester,NY weather. Unfortunately,the rental property was our least favorite part of the trip. I am not trying to leave a mean review,but an honest one.water damage. That's what comes to mind. The bathroom in the guest room was unusable as the large tiles were literally falling off the walls.one was sitting on the sink upon arrival. Others were plain missing,and the majority of the rest about to pop off. The master bath was not as bad,but,heading that way.They whole rental needed tile and grout repair.The large window shade that spanned the length off entire wall was broken and hanging down in the master. Therefore,leaving the sliding glass door to the back balcony(facing the ocean) was not accessible.we had fixed the ice maker in the freezer ourselves. That being said,we have stayed in this building and others near by,this particular one, was not our favorite.

This condo was exactly as listed and then some. It was clean, well equipped for a family of four and there was plenty of space. The views were beautiful from the condo and the location was perfect, only a few short blocks from the beach. The pool was great too!

The penthouse interiors were modern and cozy at the same time. Conveniences were close by, yet is a quiet getaway. We loved spending time on the spacious, covered balcony. Sunsets there were amazing!

Spacious Condo with Great Views
We were impressed by how spacious the condo was. There was plenty of room for all of us and many different places to relax including the bedrooms, living room, kitchen and dining areas, and outdoor balcony. The beds and bedding were comfortable and the towels plentiful with even beach towels included! The kitchen had everything we needed and was clean with lots of storage available. Having a washer and dryer room was a real plus. The views east and west were beautiful both day and night and the proximity to the beach and restaurants great. Would stay there again and highly recommend.

Amazing family vacation!
This is our 2nd time staying at the Hemingway and yet again we were not disappointed! We absolutely enjoyed our stay at the penthouse for 10 days. Lots of windows/natural light/intracostal view and sunset views, while being close by the beach and restaurants (5 min walk). The condo has everything you need to enjoy your family meals indoors and outdoors, and you can even do your laundry. Beach chairs, umbrellas, cooler, high chair, pack n play, roll-out bed, etc. We will definitely return and recommend to our friends and family! Thanks to Lars from iRenta for the warm welcome!
